My good friend, D31S, and fellow book blogger Missie from The Unread Reader is hosting this new weekly thursday event, so of course I'm participating!
I love Missie to death and she was the first online friend I made over 2 years ago. I had the pleasure of meeting her face to face in New Orleans in the beginning of June, and I have to tell you that she is even more amazing in person. If you haven't visit her blog, you have no idea what you are missing!
So, the question is: what do I do when I'm not reading?
Well, I'm a big nerd. If I'm not reading I'm usually watching movies or TV Shows that I like. Currently, I watch True Blood, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Glee, Grey's Anatomy and Sons of Anarchy. If these shows are not airing, I might be found watching my DVDs of Buffy, Angel and Veronica Mars (my all time favorite shows). Nothing beats a good book though.
If I go out, which I usually don't, I'll probably go to a movie theater or to have dinner with friends. I really do like to stay at home, I'm the biggest couch potato you ever met.
I also love to travel, but unfortunately I can't do it all the time. It's too expensive. I just spent about a week in New Orleans meeting Missie and LanYap, my awesome online friends that are now real life friends as well. I'm also remodeling my home, so that takes some of my time. It gives me plenty of headaches, but I'm very excited to see the end result. That is actually the big news in my life right now.
My life is really boring at the moment, but it did't use to be. I was a tax attorney, can you believe that? I quit though, it made me miserable. I also went to Fashion Design School for a year, but dropped out. I'm on sabbatical and trying to decide what to do with my life. Book blogging seemed like a great idea, thanks to Missie, so here I am.
